\nBack in 1973, a Canadian TV series called The Starlost<\/em> aired for a single season. It was based on an originalconcept by Harlan Ellison, and on paper it had everything going for it \u2014 a massive generational ship called \u201cThe Ark,\u201d hundreds of domes, each with its own culture, drifting through space after a disaster. But thanks to budget cuts, dated effects, and scripts that never lived up to the premise, it\u2019s mostly remembered for what it could<\/em> have been.<\/p>\nI saw it when I was 11 years old, and despite all its flaws, the idea stuck with me for more than fifty years. The concept still has incredible potential \u2014 a chance to explore isolation, culture, survival, and humanity\u2019s future \u2014 all inside one ship. With today\u2019s technology, writing, and production values, The Starlost<\/em> could finally become the story it always deserved to be.<\/p>\nThis site is my small, possibly Quixotic attempt to get someone in the industry to notice and bring The Starlost<\/em> back to life.
